Playing with dolls should be as realistic as possible. Therefore, you should naturally remember to give your doll a bath from time to time. With a lovely little bathtub, you will create even more fun hours of playing with dolls.
With our different models, you can bathe the doll – Both for real (with water) and ‘for fun’ (without water). If you want to put water in the bathtub, you can certainly do so. However, you should be aware of whether your child's doll can withstand water or not. It is important to check whether the doll absorbs water (are there small holes?) if so, it is important that it does not create a vacuum, as you risk the doll rotting inside.
We do not recommend bathing dolls with movable eyes (opening and closing when the doll lies down), dolls with soft bodies, or dolls with movable arms and legs, as there is a risk that water will enter various nooks and crannies where it is not wanted.
We only recommend bathing dolls with painted eyes and hair, hard bodies and dolls without sounds or other electronics as well as any openings where a vacuum can be created. This way, you can be sure that you will not damage the doll by taking it into the water. Enjoy.
